How to Upload Existing Videos

Overview

If you've already recorded a video outside of BombBomb, you can upload it directly to your Workspace and share or track it just like any video you record in BombBomb.

Supported File Types and Size Limit

BombBomb accepts the following formats: MP4, M4V, MOV, MKV, MPG, MPEG, AVI, WMV, and FLV. Maximum file size is 2 GB.


How to Upload a Video

  1. Click Workspace in the left-hand navigation.
  1. Click Upload Video in the top-right corner of the Workspace.
  1. On the New Upload page, either drag your video file into the upload area or click to select a file from your device.

  2. A progress bar will appear showing the upload status. Wait for the upload to complete.
  1. Once the upload is finished, you'll be taken directly to the Edit Video page with a confirmation that your video was successfully uploaded. From here you can add a title, set a thumbnail, share the video, or make any edits before sending.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why won't my video upload? Confirm your file is under 2 GB and is one of the supported formats: MP4, M4V, MOV, MKV, MPG, MPEG, AVI, WMV, or FLV. If your file meets those requirements and still won't upload, try a different browser or check your internet connection.

Can I upload videos from my phone? Yes. Use the BombBomb mobile app to upload videos directly from your iOS or Android device.

Where does my uploaded video go? After uploading, your video is available in your Workspace under All My Videos. It can be shared, edited, labeled, and tracked just like any video recorded in BombBomb.
