Overview
When AI Video Titles are enabled, BombBomb automatically generates a title for your video based on your spoken content. The title appears above your video thumbnail and gives recipients an immediate sense of what your video is about.
Who this applies to: All Users
Plan requirement: Core + Copilot, Enterprise
Note: Your admin controls whether this feature is available to your team. If you don't see it, check with your account admin or see How to Manage AI Features for Your Account.
How It Works
There's nothing you need to do to trigger a title — it generates automatically after your video finishes processing. You can record using the BombBomb Engage desktop recorder, the Chrome or Edge extension, or the mobile app.
Once processing is complete, one of three things will appear above your video thumbnail:
- A generated title — if AI Video Titles is enabled and BombBomb was able to transcribe enough spoken content from your video.
- A notice that there wasn't enough content to transcribe — if AI Video Titles is enabled but your video didn't contain enough audible speech to generate a title.
- Nothing — if AI Video Titles is turned off for your account.
Editing Your Title
If you want to adjust the generated title, click on it to edit it manually. You can rewrite it, trim it, or replace it entirely with your own.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why didn't my video generate a title? AI Video Titles require enough audible spoken content to transcribe. If your video is silent, too short (minimum of 15 seconds), or has unclear audio, the feature will note that there wasn't enough content to generate a title rather than producing an inaccurate one.
Can I turn off AI Video Titles? This is controlled at the account level. If you don't want titles generated automatically, contact your admin to have the feature disabled.
Can I write my own title instead of using the AI-generated one? Yes. Click the title to edit or replace the AI-generated text with your own at any time.
