Overview
The new BombBomb comes with a simpler left sidebar. Everything you used before is still here, but several areas have new names or new homes, and a few areas are brand new. Use this page as a map: find the place you remember, see where it lives now, and follow the link to that area's full article.
Who this applies to: All users of the new BombBomb. The Admin section applies to Admins, Team Admins, and Content Admins on a team.
Plan requirement: All plans. Email and Contacts are included on the Pro and Enterprise plans only, not on Essentials.
Known Limitations
- Integrations in the sidebar may not be available on every account yet. It's no longer in your account menu, so if you don't see it in the sidebar, contact BombBomb Support.
- The Admin section only appears for Admins, Team Admins, and Content Admins on a team.
- Email and Contacts are included on the Pro and Enterprise plans only.
- Contacts can't connect new contact sources yet.

Understanding the New Sidebar
The sidebar is now one flat list, so every main area is a single click away, with Record Video at the top and Notifications, Integrations, Chat with Us, and your account menu at the bottom. What's New in Each Area
Dashboard
Dashboard is your new home page: it's the page you land on when you sign in and when you click the BombBomb logo. See How to Use Your Dashboard.
Library (formerly Workspace)
Workspace is now called Library. Your videos haven't moved: All My Videos, Favorites, My Labels, and Shared Videos for your teams are all in the same place, and Virtual Backgrounds is a tab at the top of the page. See How to Organize Videos in Library.
Record Video
The button at the top of the sidebar that starts a new recording is now called Record Video. In Library, the New Video button is still there, with Record Video, Upload Video, and Record Screen in its menu. See How to Record a Video.
Screen Recorder
In Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge, Record Screen now records your screen right in your browser, with nothing to install. You can record a browser tab, a window, or your entire screen, and include your camera when you record your entire screen. In other browsers and in BombBomb Classic, Record Screen still uses the BombBomb desktop screen recorder app. See How to Use the Screen Recorder.
Email in the sidebar opens the new Email page, where you send, track, and organize your emails and manage templates. Email is included on the Pro and Enterprise plans only. See Understanding Emails in the New BombBomb.
Contacts
Contacts in the sidebar opens the new Contacts page, where you manage contacts, suppressed recipients, and lists. Contacts is included on the Pro and Enterprise plans only, and it can't connect new contact sources yet. See Understanding Contacts in the New BombBomb.
Insights
My Insights and Account Insights used to be separate sidebar links. Now there's a single Insights item, with My Insights and Account Insights as tabs at the top of the page.
- My Insights — analytics for your own videos.
- Account Insights — analytics across your company. Use the company selector in the top-right corner to switch between your entire company and a single team; this replaces the old Team Insights link. The tab keeps the name Account Insights either way.

Admin
What used to be Manage Account is now an Admin section in the sidebar, below Insights:
- All Users — invite, review, and manage the users on your account. Admins only.
- Teams — Admins see and manage all teams. Team Admins go straight to managing their own team; this replaces the old Manage Team link. Content Admins on a team also see Teams, which opens that team's Player Page Defaults.
- Account Settings — Player Page Defaults, Permissions, and AI Content Library, plus Plan & Billing if you manage your account's billing. Admins only.
Users and teams are no longer tabs inside Account Settings; each has its own link in the Admin section. See How to Add Users and Track Invitations and How to Manage Teams and Permissions.
Notifications
Click Notifications near the bottom of the sidebar to see recent engagement on your videos and emails, such as likes, comments, video plays, and sends. In the panel you can:
- Filter the list by Opens, Plays, Clicks, Sends, Likes, or Comments.
- Click Mark all as read to clear the unread count. Your notifications stay in the list.
- Click the gear icon (Notification settings) to open the Notifications tab of your profile settings.

Switching Between the New BombBomb and Classic
If you have access to BombBomb Classic, a banner at the top of the page lets you move between the two:
- Return to Classic (Explore Classic on Engage-only subscriptions) — opens your default page in BombBomb Classic. To come back, click Explore Engage in Classic.
- Learn More — opens the What's New section of our help center, where you'll find this article.
The Classic Features menu is no longer in the sidebar. Emails and Contacts have their own sidebar items, and if your account has Forms, Forms appears in the sidebar and opens in Classic. For any other Classic tool, click Return to Classic and find it there.
Looking for Automations? There's no Automations item in the new sidebar. Click Return to Classic, then click Automations in Classic's navigation. You only see it if your account has access to Classic Automations. Classic Automations isn't the same feature as Automated Workflows in the new sidebar.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are my videos still there? Yes. Workspace was renamed Library; your videos, favorites, labels, and shared team videos are all there.
Why don't I see Email or Contacts? Email and Contacts are included on the Pro and Enterprise plans only. They aren't part of the Essentials plan.
Where did Manage Account go? It's now the Admin section of the sidebar: All Users for users, Teams for teams, and Account Settings for player page defaults, permissions, the AI Content Library, and (if you manage your account's billing) Plan & Billing.
Why don't I see the Admin section? It only appears for Admins, who see All Users, Teams, and Account Settings; for Team Admins, who see Teams; and for Content Admins on a team, who see Teams with their team's Player Page Defaults. Members and account-level Content Admins don't see it.
Where are Team Insights now? Click Insights, select the Account Insights tab, then choose your team from the company selector in the top-right corner.
Why does Account Insights tell me to contact my Admin? Account or team Insights aren't turned on for you. Your My Insights tab still works; ask your Admin if you need company or team analytics.
Where are my Automations? Classic Automations stays in Classic. Click Return to Classic in the banner, then click Automations. It isn't the same as Automated Workflows in the new sidebar.
Where are my personal settings? Click your name in the bottom-left corner of the sidebar, then choose Profile, Email & Password, or Player Page.
Can I still use BombBomb Classic? If you have access to Classic, click Return to Classic (or Explore Classic) in the banner at the top of the page. To come back, click Explore Engage in Classic.
