Step-by-Step Instructions
Confirm Chrome is up to date
Using an outdated version of Chrome can cause functionality issues with extensions.

Open Chrome.

In the top-right corner, click the three-dot menu.
- Go to Settings.

Go to About Google Chrome.
-
Chrome will automatically check for updates and install them if available.

Relaunch the browser.

Uninstall and Reinstall the BombBomb Chrome Extension
A corrupted install can lead to extension malfunctions and reinstalling will install the latest version of the extension as long as your Chrome is also up to date.

Open Google Chrome on your computer.

Navigate to the puzzle piece icon for Extensions in the top right.

Find the BombBomb Extension in your list of extensions.

Remove the Extension:

- Click the Remove button

Reinstall the BombBomb Extension:

Go to the BombBomb Chrome Extension page.

Click Add to Chrome.

Confirm by clicking Add Extension in the pop-up.

Pin the Extension (optional but recommended):

Click the puzzle piece icon (Extensions) in the Chrome toolbar.

Find BombBomb and click the pin icon to make it visible on your toolbar.

Log into BombBomb through the extension and test the extension.
🗣️ Note: After reinstalling, you'll need to sign in again.
Check site access permissions
Improper site permissions can block the extension from accessing your tabs.

Right-click the BombBomb icon in your Chrome toolbar.

Select View Web Permissions.

Scroll through and adjust permissions or reset as necessary
Clear Your Browser Cache
Cached data may interfere with extension performance.

In Chrome, click the three-dot menu.

Select Privacy and Security > Clear Browsing Data.

Choose All time as the time range.

Select cached images and files and cookies and other site data.

Click Clear data.

Click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner of Chrome, hover over Extensions, and then click Manage Extensions.

Scroll through the list or use the search bar to find the extension you want to disable or remove.

Disable an Extension

To disable, toggle the blue switch to off next to the extension. It will turn gray, indicating it is disabled.

Remove an Extension

To completely remove the extension, click Remove on the extension card.

Confirm Removal

A confirmation popup will appear. Click Remove again to confirm and delete the extension.

Ensure you're signed in to the correct BombBomb account
Multiple accounts or incorrect logins can cause confusion.

Open Google Chrome on your computer.

Click your profile icon in the top-right corner of the browser window.

Look for a Syncing to message under your profile name.

If syncing is active, your profile is logged in and verified.

If you see Turn on sync..., click it.

Sign in with your Google account credentials if prompted.

Click Yes, I'm in to enable sync across your devices.

Confirm your profile picture and email are correct after syncing is enabled.

Optional: If multiple profiles exist, ensure you're using the correct one by clicking Manage Profiles and selecting the right account.
